Privacy policy

This policy explains what Transylvanian Training System stores about you, who can see it, and how to have it removed. The app is run by Zalán Siklodi, who is responsible for your data. Questions: zalan@webgurus.io.

What we store

• Your account: your name, email address and password (stored as a one-way hash), plus passkeys or two-factor settings if you add them.
• Your profile: your leaderboard category (women or men, only if you choose one) and whether weights show in kilograms or pounds.
• Your training: the programs you join, the scores you log (with their scale and any note), and your PRs (value, date and note).
• Safety: athletes you block and reports you send.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs (such as IP addresses) kept for security. If error monitoring or usage analytics are turned on, they record errors and page views without advertising cookies.

Who can see it

• Other athletes in a program see your name, your score and its note on that piece's leaderboard, unless one of you has blocked the other.
• The coach of a program sees the names of its athletes and their scores, and can hide a score.
• Your PRs are private. Only you see them.
• The administrator can see account and training data to provide support and to review reports.

We don't sell your data or show you ads.

Why we use it

To run the service you signed up for (programs, scores, leaderboards and PRs), to keep it safe (moderation, security logs), and to fix errors and improve the app. These are based on our contract with you and our legitimate interest in a safe, working service.

Service providers

We use providers for hosting, sending email, error monitoring (Sentry) and usage analytics (PostHog). They process data only on our behalf. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your account, scores, PRs, program memberships and blocks straight away. Copies in backups disappear as the backups expire.

Your rights

You can see, correct, download or delete your data, and object to how we use it. Most of this you can do in Settings; for the rest, email zalan@webgurus.io. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Romania that is ANSPDCP.

Age

The app is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date above and tell you in the app when the change matters to you.
